EOP Certificate for TLS



EOP Certificate Details


This EOP Certificate Information required when External Partners wants to set up a TLS Encryption based on the certificate name match:-

Root Certification authority: 

Baltimore Cyber Trust Root.

Certificate subject : 

CN=mail.protection.outlook.com, OU=Forefront Online Protection for Exchange, O=Microsoft, L=Redmond, S=WA, C=US.

Issuer name:

CN=MSIT Machine Auth CA 2, DC=redmond, DC=corp, DC=microsoft, DC=com.

Certificate alternate names: 

mail.protection.outlook.com;*.mail.eo.outlook.com;*.mail.protection.outlook.com;outlook.com;mail.messaging.microsoft.com.

Cipher strength in use :

AES256-SHA or AES128.

For Mutual Authentication the Partners may require the Certificate name which is used by EOP services.You can provide the name of the EOP Certificate as *.mail.protection.outlook.com.

The Partners can use the smart host as the MX records for EOP domain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com.
